Selling a home is rarely just a financial transaction. It's a move, a life change, sometimes a separation, sometimes a loss. Emotion is part of the process, and ignoring it doesn't make it disappear.
My role isn't only to sell your property — it's to turn an emotionally charged period into a process predictable.
My promise in 4 commitments
A fixed weekly check-in
Every Friday at the same time. The week's showings, buyer feedback, proposed adjustments. 15 minutes, by phone or in person.
Prompt communication, within reason
I commit to responding promptly on business days, by text, email or phone — you choose the channel that suits you.
Two to three scenarios at every decision
Price, adjustments, offers received. You decide with the numbers in hand, never on a hunch.
Transparency from the first meeting
My goal: keep surprises to a minimum. All known fees, timelines and conditions are put on the table from the start.
The typical calendar of a stress-free sale
| Week | Step |
|---|---|
| S-4 | First meeting, signing the mandate, evaluation |
| S-3 à S-2 | Preparing the property, decluttering, painting if needed |
| S-1 | Photos, drone video, floor plan, listing copywriting |
| Day of | Centris marketing + pre-release to my network (72 h early access) |
| Weeks 1-4 | Showings, feedback, adjustments, negotiation of the first offers |
| Weeks 5-9 | Inspection, buyer financing, notary signing |
Three levers I use to reduce your stress
Uncertainty about the real value
My comparative evaluation report gives you three ranges (low, median, optimistic) based on verifiable data — not on promises.
The fear of surprise showings
Every showing is scheduled 24 h in advance minimum. No buyer enters your home without a confirmed appointment.
The panic of “time-bomb” offers
When an offer arrives with a 24 h deadline, the instinct is to give in to the pressure. My role is to show you the options coolly: accept, counter, refuse. And to tell you what I'd do if it were mine.
“When we sold our home in Sainte-Thérèse, I had lost sleep for months thinking about all the paperwork. Alain took care of everything. He'd text me on Fridays with the week's summary. I never had to chase him.”Marie-Claude · Sold in 22 days
FAQ — selling without stress
How many showings will I have to accept?
On average, my listings receive 8 to 15 showings before an acceptable offer. All are coordinated and grouped where possible.
What happens if I change my mind along the way?
The termination conditions are set out in the OACIQ exclusive brokerage contract. In general, the mandate can be terminated with notice; however, certain expenses incurred by the agency (professional photos, video, marketing) may be billed according to the terms of the contract. We discuss this with full transparency before signing.
What if I need to sell quickly for a move?
My median timeline is 28 days. With slightly aggressive positioning (-3 to -5%), we can aim for 14-21 days without sacrificing quality.
